    Stone Cave: Literally feels like you are in just that – a stone cave! The Turkish food served here by friendly staff is both delicious and authentic. A great place for group bookings and sharing a selection of hot and cold meze’s.

    Chick ‘n’ sours: Opened in 2015 to raving reviews is a local fried chicken shop, but not as you know it! This rustic-chic eatery is a great place to get your junk food without a bad conscience as it has thoughtfully sourced its fried chicken. If the food wasn’t enough, they also have amazing sour cocktails and local beers. They have also opened more sites now in Covent Garden and Islington. Hemmingfords absolutely love it here!

    Brilliant Corners: It’s quite a hard place to describe – part Japanese restaurant, part bar, part music venue – but it’s the sound system that draws you in, playing tracks curated by guest DJs. There’s a delicious list of cocktails available with loads more beers, wines and spirits to choose from.

    Rio Cinema: Decorated with the blue and pink colours of the original design, Rio Cinema will be a flash back in time. The one screen cinema sometimes holds film festivals and they typically have some discounts for seniors and kids. At Rio Cinema you can buy the typical theatre food and drinks but for those partial to a glass of something stronger, there’s alcohol options available too.

    Dalston Food Market: Every Sunday this low-key place comes alive and you can find so many great produces on offer. From quality cheeses, to fresh pasta, to organic breads and honey from Sardinian street traders – CapoCaccia, you will not leave without buying something. We recommend the flatbread pizza at Dalston Food Market, you will not be disappointed.

    Go to Gigs: The number of gigs in Dalston has (believe it or not) surpassed Camden in recent years. If you want to see great artists and live gigs you should check out all that is going on in Dalston.

    Dalston Roof Park: See the landscape differently on Dalston’s rooftop garden where you can unwind, dance, sip drinks, and tuck in to some good food. Surrounded by Victorian buildings and complete with a great skyline, you will most-likely never want to leave.

    Stonebridge Gardens: It’s located right next to the Overground; however, this is a fun place for many activities. There is a charming playground and thankfully, there is no age limit because it looks fun for all! Nearby, you will find lots of green space, a football field, benches, and Santander bicycle rentals.

    London Fields: With a Green Flag Award for being one of the best green spaces in the country; this is the spot where something will always be happening in Summer. London Fields has everything you can think of from a paddling pool, two children’s play areas, a cricket pitch, a gravelled petanque court, changing rooms, a barbeque area, a cafe, two tennis courts, table tennis – the list goes on! You may observer some free exercise classes happening on the green as a distant onlooker as well as other pop up events. This park is located right next to Broadway Market, so if you need any food or beverages you can stop there on your way to the field.
